Club Details
This club should be of interest to experienced players and those wishing to improve their game. We play 2 teams in the Bury League and have regular Thursday meetings (see Events list).
The "Bishops" (in Division 1) play home matches on Thursday.
The "Roots" (in Division 2) play home matches on Monday.
Membership is in 2 parts: Membership of the Beet Club venue (approx £10 p.a. depending on circumstances, which includes a licensed bar) and membership of Chess club (currently £15 p.a.).
